Our RAFALO from RAF Boulmer (FS Mark Barker) is doing a fundraising challenge in aid of the “Walking with the Wounded” charity by walking from the War Memorial in Eldon Square, Newcastle to his home in Gateshead via the War Memorial in Gateshead and the War Memorial in Heworth.   Although a relatively short distance (of just over 6 miles) Mark’s continuing medical condition (Psoriatic Arthritis and other ailments) will make it a challenging activity.   Already over £200 has been pledged and, if you feel able to support Mark (and the charity) in this worthy cause donations can be sent direct to Mark at:
