Our annual Battle of Britain Commemoration will be held in St George’s Church in Jesmond at 1400 hrs.   Branch members allocated tasks are asked to be in place by 1315 hrs (for briefing) and those attending the Service are asked to be in place in the Church no later than 1345 hrs.  The formal Review by the Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne of the Standards, Veterans, the Northumbria Universities Air Squadron and local RAF Air Cadets will take place outside the Church after the Service (weather permitting).  On completion of the formalities, refreshments will be available in the Church hall.
